Posing a picture by the slums. Hello, everyone in Singapore!
Thank you, GMSP teachers for your donation to buy me food!
Look at my craft! A multiplication of bread and fish learnt from the story of feeding the five thousand.

28 May 2010 -- Our 2nd day in Cambodia Phnom Penh. We had a simple breakfast and off to the slums we went. We conducted two sessions of English lessons with the Cambodian children. They were excited to learn and our girls mingled well with them. The Project SMILE lessons that our girls had undergone came in handy today as they wowed the Cambodian children with the magic tricks and broke the ice between them. The Cambodian children were friendly and excited to learn as they followed us in singing. The energy level was high from both sides and we had a wonderful time sharing God's love in action.
Day 2 -- GB girls presenting a song item at Morning Star T-house

Greetings from Cambodia (Day 2)

Just received an SMS from Mrs Cheng.
Today they had 2 English sessions at the Morning Star T-house. The girls mingled well with the Cambodian children using the magic tricks. They also put up a skit, led games and everybody enjoyed it. It was a hot day but thank God for sheltering them.Though it was hot, it was better than expected.

Dear Jesus,

We thank you for guiding the girls and the officers through the English sessions and a wonderful time spent  with the Cambodian children.
Continue to lead them, empower them and strengthen them. Bless them with strong immune systems and grant them a good night rest tonight, in Jesus' name we pray, AMEN!

In-His-love,
Ms Goh

Day 1

Yay! We've landed safely, praise the Lord! :) :)

Thank you to Ms Goh for updating the blog for us. Your prayers are very much appreciated. :)

We thank God for bringing us safely onto Cambodian soil. The girls are all very excited about serving the Cambodian children for the next 2 days. It's been heartwarming for the teachers to observe the girls taking care of one another's belongings and being acccountable towards their chaperones.

Ok, the pictures are not shown chronologically as we're still trying to figure out this blogger tool. Please bear with us...sleep beckons...
